Sam Heughan's charm appeals to any age. Even students want the Outlander lead actor to date their teacher.

During Heughan's appearance at The Late Late Show With James Corden with A Quiet Place Part II actress Emily Blunt, the host showed a tweet from one of the actor's fans along with a letter from her French students in middle school. The students asked the actor to date their English teacher, Emma Denam.

In her tweet, Denam thanked her students for writing a letter to her favorite actor. She, however, is not optimistic that the Bloodshot star will be able to see her students' letter. But Heughan did so as Corden's staff. The host showed it at his show to get a response from Heughan.

In the letter, the students asked Heughan if he could ask their teacher Emma to go on a date with him because they loved her and she is a huge fan of the actor. The students also praised their teacher in the letter as they asked a simple message from the actor as a gift to Emma.

"She is beautiful. She speaks good English and she can buy you pain au chocolat," the students hilariously wrote.

Corden asked Heughan if he would consider such a proposal. Heughan revealed that he did reply to Emma but he can't take her to a date. He explained that if he did, he might also need to take her students and that would be really expensive.

Corden added that the students also mentioned that teacher Emma will be taking them on a trip to Scotland this year and they hoped that they could meet the actor. Heughan jokingly said it is an "emotional blackmail" and they are putting a lot of pressure on him.

Meanwhile, Denam apologized to the actor for putting him on the spot. The teacher said she read a lot of comments about Heughan's interview at The Late Late Show and she regrets putting up her students' letter on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Heughan also revealed the person who he wants to play music on his upcoming 40th birthday. The Scottish actor praised Clyde 1's GBX host George Bowie and he hopes for a personal appearance from him on his birthday on April 30.

Heughan then joked that he would love it if Corden and the host's staff would track down the Scottish DJ for his birthday. Heughan's fans will have to wait to see if the actor's wish will come true on his birthday.
