When Prince Harry was still single, he had been the constant third wheel of Prince William and Kate Middleton. But since the three royals were extremely close, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge always enjoyed having the younger prince around during formal and informal events.
Every royal fan knows that Prince William and Prince Harry had a tight bond since they were young boys. So when Kate Middleton came into the picture, many thought that the royal brothers would be less close. Fortunately, that didn’t happen.
Kate Middleton seamlessly joined the bond, and they quickly became “The Royal Trio.” Now, a new report revealed that it seems like their tight-knit relationship is just going to be a thing in the past and the Duchess of Cambridge is very sad about it.
“To be honest I think Kate has taken it all badly. She, Harry, and William were once such a happy trio, she thinks what has happened is all very sad,” the source said. “It’s not been an easy few months for anybody.”
Following Prince Harry ad Meghan Markle’s step back from being senior royals, Kate Middleton greeted guests at the UK-Africa Investment Summit reception a few days later. She and Prince William hosted their first-ever Buckingham Palace event, where they were joined by Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Princess Anne.
While the Duchess of Cambridge showed grace and composure, energy reader Alison Ward said that Kate Middleton’s worries regarding the whole matter were quite obvious at the event.
“The strain of recent events is evident to see in some of last night’s pictures from the state reception,” she said. “Kate warmly greets officials and is clearly still very much in love with William but when she meets Sophie, Duchess of Wessex that’s when the strain shows.”
Alison Ward added that even though Kate Middleton was trying to put on a brave face, her eyes and body language seemingly showed how she truly feels. And when she was talking with Sophie, that’s when she finally became more relaxed and herself.
“Kate’s eyes are not showing as much warmth and her hands are defensively across her stomach,” the energy reader said. “It suggests that Kate put on her ‘state face’ to welcome her guests. This was more obvious at last night’s occasion when normally she is able to hide it. Kate let her guard down with her known relatives as seen in this picture with Sophie.”
