NCIS season 17 episode 18 is set to arrive next week on CBS, with the title "Schooled." This episode will see the team solving an unusual mystery, wherein an A+ student at a trade school has been murdered. It seems like there's more to this case and the person who killed the student had a substantial motive, though it's unclear who may it be.
In the promo of NCIS season 17 episode 18, will start investigating this murder case. But what's bizarre here is that there are no students at the said school, and it was abandoned as soon as they arrive. It looks like there is a huge mystery in this case, so the team finds themselves doing whatever they can to find out the reason behind the murder.
Also, in the next episode, the body of a well-regarded Navy technician has been found floating in a lake. The dead body was discovered in the middle of a so-called "Duck Dunk," so the team will be called to determine whether or not the deceased has some ties to the military. In addition, this person might be connected to the murder of the A+ student as well.
But aside from these odd cases, NCIS season 17 episode 18 will also offer some personal storylines. For instance, the episode will see Sloane's daughter making an unexpected request. Faith reunites with her mother and they may likely have some important conversations here. Although the promo didn't highlight their moment, it's still apparent that Sloane's daughter came back for a reason.
As of the moment, there's no word whether Sloane and Gibbs will be spending time as well. But then, it's apparent that Gibbs cares for Sloane, so he might be a good shoulder for her to lean on during difficult times. Perhaps, this storyline may also shed more light on what we can expect to some of these characters in the future.
In another report, series star Sean Murray posted on Twitter regarding the filming hiatus due to the COVID-19 concerns. The current season will finish with 20 episodes, which was four fewer than the original plan. Although nothing is confirmed, some of the stories from these remaining episodes will likely be part of the potential season 18. But then, Murray also clarified the renewal for season 18 hasn't yet officially made.
