There is little doubt that the latest installment of Going SEVENTEEN 2020 features one of the most unique challenges so far. In the new episodes of the show, the members of the boy group must fall asleep in order to enjoy a day off. Although this should be an easy task, the idols also make it difficult on each other by telling hilarious TMI stories or sharing jokes that could make them laugh. Needless to say, their latest idea of keeping Jun awake is by coming up with ridiculous names for his future children.
In the previous episode of Going SEVENTEEN 2020 Insomnia-Zero, it was revealed that host Hoshi came up with the idea for the game. Kwon Soonyoung suggested that the members should attempt to go to sleep and whoever succeeds will be allowed to go home and enjoy a day off. In the challenge, a member would be hooked up to a heart monitor and their heart rate should remain steady as if they were really sleeping. However, the idols decided to share outrageous stories about a member who was trying to sleep in an effort to get their heart rate up.
In Insomnia-Zero #1, Jeonghan, DK, and The8 were the first three members who were allowed to leave. However, host Hoshi was given the option to call someone back to take his place in case he succeeds in the task. In the meantime, the challenge continued for the remaining idols who now opted to share dad jokes to get the "sleeping" member to react in Insomnia-Zero #2. However, they were presented with an unusual task from Jun.
As he prepared to lay down, Jun told the other members to tell Korean jokes that would be funny to Chinese people since he was Chinese. Not surprisingly, the other SEVENTEEN members didn't know any Chinese jokes then decided to take a different method. Dino stated that he just thought of a good name for Jun's future children since his Korean name was Moon Junhui and "moon" is "door" in Korean. Lee Chan then said that his hyung should call his first son "Moon Dahd Eo" which means "close the door."
The other SEVENTEEN members then began joking about how Jun would order his son to close the door by saying "Dahd-eo-yah, Moon Dahd Eo." Mingyu then suggested that Jun's second son should be named "Moon Yeol Eo" which means "open the door." Kim Mingyu then did an impersonation of Moon Junhui ordering his sons to open and close the doors repeatedly. The impersonation was so good that Woozi almost collapsed in laughter while Jun himself couldn't help but smile while laying down.
At this point, Seungkwan wondered if they could come up with a pretty name for a change. This is when Hoshi suggested "Moon Bang Goo" which means "stationary store." On the other hand, Boo Seungkwan opted for something hopeful like "Moon Sang" which translates to "gift certificate."
Interestingly, all the ridiculous names for Jun's future kids weren't enough to make him fail at the challenge. Moon Junhui was one of the members along with Vernon and Dino in the episode.
