Fans of Tomorrow X Together can always rest assure that the members of the boy group are active on their official WeVerse. After all, Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai enjoy interacting with MOAs on the platform. But what happens when there are suddenly two Yeonjuns on the TXT WeVerse? Fans were initially confused that the application was showing two members with the same nickname, but who is the real Choi Yeonjun?
There is little doubt that WeVerse is one of the most popular applications in the world considering that it allows fans to interact with their favorite idols. Not surprisingly, one of the most popular groups on the platform is Tomorrow X Together since the members truly enjoy answering MOAs' comments and posts. However, there is one thing that the idols have just learned recently. Although they have been on WeVerse for almost more than a year, TXT just realized that it is possible to change their nicknames on the application.
Taehyun was the first Tomorrow X Together member to realize the feature on WeVerse. Not surprisingly, Kang Taehyun immediately had a lot of fun with the namechanging and has switched nicknames several times. At one point, the idol even changed his nickname to "TXT_Hueningkai" for a good cause. A fan had wanted to get a special message from the youngest TXT member for her birthday so Taehyun impersonated Hueningkai and commented, "Congratulations" on the MOA's post.
Interestingly, Hueningkai isn't the only member of Tomorrow X Together that Taehyun has somehow impersonated on WeVerse. Kang Taehyun recently changed his nickname yet again to "TXT_YE0NJUN" but he swapped out the "o" for a zero. Needless to say, fans were confused considering that Yeonjun was also active on the platform at that time. However, Choi Yeonjun wasn't upset that his dongsaeng was trying to pass himself off as the eldest member of TXT.
Yeonjun was surprised to see that it is possible to change your nickname on the Tomorrow X Together WeVerse and immediately asked how it can be done. It didn't take long before Choi Yeonjun changed his name to "JUST_LIGHT." The change once again helped fans identify the real Yeonjun without having to check for the zero.
Yeonjun, the fake Yeonjun (Taehyun) and the rest of Tomorrow X Together are believed to be working on their next comeback although this has yet to be officially confirmed by Big Hit Entertainment. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
