Lady Gaga herself addressed all the speculations at Jimmy Kimmel Live back in February. “People saw love, and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” she said.
She even went on to call social media the “toilet of the Internet” after netizens spread false stories about her and Cooper being in love. The truth is that the chemistry that people saw in the film and during their performance at the Oscar’s was just a result of two actors doing their job.
