Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have been dating for about eight months now. They are among the celebrity couples today that are not shy about showing off their affection to each other in public. For those who have issues with their PDAs, Cabello has an answer to that.

If Camila and Shawn's performance of their smash collaboration "Senorita" at the 2019 American Music Awards is not steamy enough for their fans, just keep an eye on the couple's Instagram Stories as once in a while they do drop some sweet photos and videos together. However, it appeared that not everyone was thrilled with it. Some find the couple's PDAs on social media too much.

During Cabello's appearance on Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James back in November, a caller expressed her dismay at the couple's PDAs. The caller said posting anything overly mushy on Instagram is annoying.

The "Havana" singer agreed to the caller's sentiment but also stressed that she hasn't done that. James also defended the couple saying Cabello and Mendes are public figures who were always photographed even on their private time together. The couple has been often photographed by paparazzi when they go out to grab a bite or when they are on vacation.

"I know! So you honestly get kind of desensitized to it, you're like, 'Well, might as well just make out on Instagram!'" Cabello responded

Mendes and the former member of Fifth Harmony are both passionate individuals. It's understandable that they do share a sweet kiss when they are together. Many of these instances got snapped by paparazzi and landed on the tabloids' front pages.

In reality, the two seldom share photos of them together on their social media accounts. Cabello's IG mainly features her performances, music, family, and family. So as the "If I Can't Have You" crooner. However, when they do share a video of them together being sweet to each other, many called out the couple.

Who can forget the post of the "Liar" singer and Shawn where they made an odd makeout session to Instagram. In the clip, Mendes said many poked fun at the way they kiss and haters commented that "they kiss like fish."

As a response, the couple decided to show their followers how they really do it and purposefully kissed each other excessively. The video gathered mixed reactions from netizens.

Meanwhile, the two are back on Instagram Live. Mendes and Cabello recently had an Instagram Live concert for Together at Home series of the Global Citizen urging everyone to stay at home amidst the coronavirus global pandemic.

The duo sang Shawn's "Lost in Japan," Camila's "Havana," and their duet "Señorita." In between songs, Camila and Shawn revealed that while practicing social distancing together, they have been doing a Harry Potter marathon.
