Priyanka Chopra has assured her and her husband, Nick Jonas, fans that they are doing great despite persistent divorce rumors. The couple is currently spending more time together while on self-quarantine due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In her recent interview with Tatler, the beauty queen-turned-actress talked about their plans and how they keep very much in love with each other. Chopra said despite their busy schedules, they make sure to stay close and connected to each other.
Nick recently wrapped up his Jonas Brothers' Happiness Begins tour with his brother Kevin and Joe. Chopra, on the other hand, is busy with various projects in Hollywood including Matrix 4.
"We don't go more than two/three weeks without seeing each other. That's a rule... You've got to work on the relationship, to prioritize it," the Quantico actress said.
This seems to be Chopra's response to rumors that she and Nick are not getting along really well after their wedding in December 2018. OK! previously alleged that Nick and Priyanka were headed for divorce just a few months after getting married.
The tabloid claimed the couple has finally got to know each other as they now live under one roof and they have been constantly fighting about everything. Jonas, allegedly, started to see Chopra's "temper" and "controlling side."
A source of OK! added the Jonas family has been begging Nick to end things between him and the actress. The insider then speculated that Chopra would likely make things difficult for the "Jealous" singer when they split by igniting a messy divorce battle.
Gossip Cop debunked the rumor then. Chopra has also assured that she and Jonas are getting stronger.
The couple also frequently shared on social media their sweet photos together. Just recently, the 37-year-old actress posted on Instagram a picture of her and Jonas cuddling in their home while staying at home because of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra also admitted that starting a family with Nick Jonas is "very important" to her. However, having a child soon is not on their priority at the moment. Chopra said she and Nick will be having children in the future when the right time comes.
Chopra also earlier revealed how they keep their relationship strong. In an earlier interview on Diane Von Furstenberg's Spotify podcast InCharge with DVF, Priyanka said she and Nick always write five things that they love about each other. The actress said the very first thing that the singer wrote about her was that he loves her ambition and no guy has ever said that to her.
