Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will officially leave the royal life behind at the end of the month. Based on the reported deals of their royal exit, they will also cease to represent the Queen, as well as their HRH titles.

After completing the final rounds of their royal engagements earlier this month, the Sussex couple immediately flew out of the country to return to Canada. Since their "bombshell" announcement in January, this is where they have been staying, together with their son, Archie Harrison.

While no clear information was given about their future plans, especially the place where they will stay, it was widely assumed that they will reside in Canada. However, Insider recently revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have now "permanently relocated" in California.

As per the publication, anonymous sources shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex flew to Meghan's hometown just right before Candian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau "shut the border." Although it was already claimed that this is where the royal couple will settle for good, the Buckingham Palace has yet to confirm as noted by the reports.

While waiting for the Palace's statements about the matter, it was said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may soon face another struggle in their plans to live a "financially-independent" life outside the British Monarchy. As stated, they may soon be forced to renounce their duke and duchess titles.

According to Express UK, all new US citizens will need to take the Oath of Allegiance due to the country's Naturalization Law. This, reportedly, entails the royal couple's need to relinquish their titles, whether hereditary or not.

They also need to renounce their "loyalty" to a "foreign prince, potentate, state, and/or sovereignty." Therefore, Prince Harry may be forced to give up his dukedom, as well as his right as a royal-born prince of the British Monarchy.

It is worth noting, though, that all of these things are yet to be confirmed. Even so, royal experts and commentators, reportedly, claimed that this recent move made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was "pre-planned."

It was explained that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have realized that things will not work for them if they stay in Canada. So, since they have always wanted to live in Los Angeles, given that this is where the Duchess was raised, it is not entirely surprising if they decided to settle in California for good.
