When the coronavirus is ravaging the world, even the most secure places in America go on lockdown including the White House. It's residents naturally were instructed to stay at home and that included Donald Trump, his wife Melania, and son Barron.

Many are thinking that being locked up at the White House is not bad at all considering the leisure and entertainment facilities it has and the vast area to walk around. It looks like these are helping Barron Trump adjust in life without attending school and staying 24 hours a day at the White House.

Speaking to Fox News earlier this week, President Trump was asked about how Barron is holding up after school suspended classes. The president admitted that his 14-year-old son was "not unhappy" to stay at home and did not object to getting holed up at the White House during the coronavirus pandemic.

"Well, Barron's not so unhappy... They said, 'You can't go to school,' and I wouldn't say he sat up and complained about it," POTUS said.

Trump also praised Barron's school, St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, for implementing distance learning. He said the schools managed to give lessons online so the students can learn even at home. The president also mentioned that teleconferencing also works on him as it allowed him to go on meetings with other foreign leaders during the coronavirus crisis.

While Barron is not complaining about staying at home due to coronavirus, work is becoming more different for the White House staff. Apparently, the Executive Residence's staff numbers have been down by dozens from its 90 full-time workers. Many are working from home as per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

The limited number of White House staff members are maintaining the 55,000-square-foot mansion in order while working on a six-foot distance from the First Family. According to White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, the Trumps have been strictly practicing social distancing from their staff members while in quarantine at home.

Meanwhile, Barron Trump also celebrated his 14th birthday last month while in quarantine at home. Melania Trump posted a sweet birthday shoutout to her son on social media. In her post on Twitter, she wrote, "Happy Birthday BWT" along with two silver balloons that spell out the number 14.

Americans have seen Barron grow up at the White House. The teenager did not immediately move to Washington D.C. when his father won the election and took office in January 2017.

Barron was living and attending school in Manhattan in New York City when Trump ran for the highest office in the country. Melania stayed with him in NYC. The mother and son finally moved to the White House after Barron finished the school year.
