It looks like Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 is already teasing on its epic conclusion. Although the final season started off by focusing on Captain Rex's storyline, the series is now shining the spotlight on Ahsoka Tano and is slowly bringing the former padawan back to the frontlines of the ongoing war. Ahsoka might no longer be associated with the Jedi Order but there is little doubt that her fate is still connected to how the show is going to end. The latest episode of The Clone Wars has just set up the climactic fight between Ahsoka and Darth Maul.

There is a bit of doubt that Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 is already setting up for the end of the lengthy war. After all, the animated series takes place between the events in the Star Wars prequel films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. By the time that Anakin Skywalker is already being tempted into the Dark Side in Revenge of the Sith, the Clone Wars has already ended. Interestingly, it could all end with an epic fight between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Maul.

In the episode Together Again, Ahsoka Tano finally deals with a huge dilemma that has bothered her since she first reappeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7. The former padawan has been hiding her past as a Jedi from her companions Trace and Rafa Martez. However, Ahsoka decided to admit her identity so that the Pykes will release the sisters instead. Interestingly, Trace and Rafa still chose to come back and rescue Ahsoka from the syndicate.

Interestingly, Ahsoka Tano made a discovery that Star Wars fans have known all along: Darth Maul has been the head of the syndicate all this time. In addition to that, Maul has been operating Crimson Dawn while still in control of Mandalore. Needless to say, this means that Ahsoka has once again found herself in the middle of a fight that will put her up against a villain she once faced. In addition to that, she somehow finds herself reunited with Bo-Katan Kryze and two other members of the Death Watch who are on a dangerous mission.

But what will happen now that Ahsoka Tano knows about Darth Maul and she has been reunited with Bo-Katan Kryze? There is a huge possibility that Ahsoka, although she is no longer a Jedi, will find herself taking the frontlines in the fight to take Mandalore back from Maul. This is Ahsoka's fate and it only means that the Siege of Mandalore will be a huge part of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 airs on Disney+ every Fridays.
