Since last year, TFI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the Cupertino tech giant would release the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro in the second quarter of 2020. He also said that these premium laptops would feature scissor keyboards. With the release of MacBook Air last month, consumers are left to wait for the arrival of the 13-Inch MacBook Pro since Apple released the 16-inch MacBook Pro a few months earlier.

A new leak claims that Apple might release the 13-inch MacBook Pro in may of this year. The latest information comes from leakster Jon Prosser, who reveals that the upcoming 13-inch MacBook Pro has a code name J223. Posser also notes that Apple might release a new size for its smaller laptop offering.

It can be recalled the Apple tipster Ming-Chi Kuo has mentioned the 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro in the past. It is possible that, like what Posser said, the Cupertino tech giant could come up with a new size and bump up the display to 14 inches. There are rumors that the 14-inch MacBook Pro might replace the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

At present, the 13-inch MacBook Pro uses the problematic butterfly keyboard. In the past, Apple deliberately launched a free repair program to solve issues caused by the butterfly keyboard. This includes unresponsive or sticky keys.

The Cupertino tech giant, however, fixed this issue when it released the 13-inch MacBook Air and the 16-inch MacBook Pro, all with scissor keyboards. Apart from the new keyboard, the upcoming MacBook Pro is also rumored to have a new processor. Reports claim that it might house the 10th generation Intel Ice Lake chip founded on 10nm architecture.

Ming-Chi Kuo, last month predicted that Apple's 14-inch MacBook Pro would feature the mini LED display. In his note to investors, Kuo did not specify when the premium laptop will arrive, but he mentioned that it would be this year. The TFI Securities Analyst also said that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the production of the mini LED that would be in the 14-inch MacBook Pro would not be affected.

Jon Prosser has been sharing interesting details about Apple's upcoming products. He also shared several leaks about Google. However, while this information may sound exciting, it is worth mentioning that it is not yet official.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is rumored to arrive in May 2020, which means consumers have a few more days of waiting time until they finally get to see the rumored premium laptop from Apple.
