Murtagh is indeed dead but it wouldn't just pass without saying a proper goodbye to the beloved character. Aunt Jocasta and Jamie will prepare a burial for the man they both loved dearly. Meanwhile, Richard Rankin revealed what fans could expect from his character in the upcoming Outlander Season 5 Episode 8.

Aside from the Fraser family and the Regulators, there is another person that is deeply devastated by Murtagh's passing: Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy). In a clip from Episode 8 that Entertainment Weekly shared, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and her aunt are seen talking about Murtagh's (Duncan Lacroix) burial.

Jocasta tells Jamie that she regrets not preparing a headstone for the man she loved but also realizes that it is inappropriate for a newlywed woman like her to pay tribute to another man. Murtagh was killed in the previous episode during the Battle of Alamance while a few weeks ago, Outlander featured Jocasta's wedding to Duncan Innes.

"He was as stubborn as your father...He was loyal above all," Jocasta tells her nephew.

It can also be noticed in the clip that Jocasta is wearing the Luckenbooth pendant that Murtagh gave her before they ended things between them in Episode 6. The necklace matches the brooch that holds the piece of plaid on Murtagh's jacket when he visited Jocasta before her wedding.

Meanwhile, Outlander fans could see more of Roger MacKenzie (Rankin) at least in Episode 8 despite the teaser suggested otherwise. Rankin previously revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that filming Episode 8 was the most challenging for him.

"My favorite episode for me in terms of performance and what I put in, I think, was episode eight. More so because it was a really challenging episode," he said.

Rankin could be referring to a flashback scene of Roger or his funeral. On the other hand, Sophie Skelton, who played the role of Roger's wife, Brianna, described the filming of Roger's death as "brutal."

It can be recalled that towards the end of Outlander Season 5 Episode 7, Jamie, Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and Bree looked up a tree where the bodies of three Regulators were hanged. The Frasers believe that one of them is Roger.

But then again, Rankin had mentioned in the ET interview a scene between Roger and his son Jemmy. The actor admitted that he had trouble filming in most of the scenes with Jemmy. Apparently in one of those, Roger shouted at Jemmy and the toddler was really upset.

Fans immediately noticed that this scene hasn't aired yet. This means there will be more of Roger this season and possibly in the upcoming instalment.

Outlander Season 5 will return on April 12. Episode 8, titled "Famous Last Words" airs at 8 p.m. on Starz.
