However, things have changed greatly since Miller was seen in a jawdropping video where he attacks a fan. Interestingly, it looks like the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star is trying to prevent Warner Bros. from firing him from The Flash after the shocking incident went viral.
Last week, Ezra Miller made headlines after a video showing a violent interaction with a fan went viral. In the video, the fan is shown approaching the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them star, who then grabbed her by the throat and forced her down on the floor. The video then goes shaky as the fan's companions try to get Miller to stop choking their friend. Some of the voices even ask Miller what he's doing as there is a flurry of angry responses.
Needless to say, people were shocked when they saw the video of Ezra Miller's unexpected attack on the fan. Some pointed out that they were disappointed with the actor, who always seemed to be such a nice guy. Others stated that the Perks of Being A Wallflower actor might not be in the right mental state when he assaulted the fan. Moreover, people now believe that Miller should be removed from the upcoming Warner Bros. film The Flash, which will focus on his Justice League character Barry Allen.
It's understandable why people are reacting the way that they are. After all, the attack on the woman seemed uncalled for and is shocking violent especially since it's coming from a man who always appears jovial and enthusiastic when meeting his fans. Interestingly, the backlash may have had a terrible effect on Ezra Miller's career. There are now speculations that Miller could be fired by Warner Bros. from his upcoming film The Flash, which was supposed to begin production before the Coronavirus outbreak shutdowns.
Not surprisingly, Ezra Miller seems to be fighting for the right to stay in the film. A report reveals that the We Need To Talk About Kevin star is begging Warner Bros. not to remove him from The Flash. It is believed that Miller is telling the studio he will do anything just to remain in the DC Extended Universe movie. For now, Warner Bros. has not yet made an official announcement about the film.
The Flash was expected to begin production in April but this has been delayed due to COVID-19. The movie is still scheduled for release on July 1, 2022.
