Former Dal Shabet leader Viki recently spoke up about her reputation for starring in porn films and said that she was tricked by her seedy acting agency into filming the adult scenes she became known for.

According to the former Kpop idol who is now making her name as actress Baek Da Eun, she had no choice but to film the scenes in the controversial movies because her acting agency told her to, reported Koreaboo

It can be recalled that Bak Da Eun first starred in the critically acclaimed A Pharisee which won her a rookie actress award at the 34th Golden Cinema Film Festival. However, her next movies Nice Sister In Law and PS Girl were also known for their erotic nature.

"There was no one to stand up for me on set. The situation drove me to end up filming those scenes. That movie wounded me deeply and it gave me the image of a porn actress. I wanted to clarify at least this," Viki explained.

Viki said that her acting agency misled her and promised her roles in dramas if she continued to make a name for herself in movies. However, all her roles involved extreme nudity. Sadly, the dramatic roles never materialized and she grew wise to the agency's lies.

"When I found out the drama roles were lies, I went to the company furious. The only feedback I received was "Who promised you such a thing?" and at this point, I became certain that I was being used," she said.

In the end, she took legal action against the company and found out that they were illegally operating in the first place so she had little trouble getting out of her contract. However, by this time, her reputation already sustained a lot of damage.

It got so bad that at one point, she received an indecent proposal through a direct message. Viki adamantly defended herself on Instagram and maintained that all the success she enjoyed was due to her own hard work and not because of a sponsor.

This was actually the first time that Viki spoke about what was really going on in her acting career. In previous interviews, she said that she found it challenging to act without her clothes on but in the end, she was able to understand her character.

After revealing her situation in the interview, netizens showed an outpouring of support and said that agencies should stop abusing their talents this way.

Viki is currently restarting her career and started teaching dance to students who are interested, including aspiring girl group members. Last year, she left Dal Shabet with the intent of pursuing a solo career.
