Anyone who has seen the music video for SEVENTEEN's new Japanese single 'Fallin' Flower' will immediately say it is a visual masterpiece. In addition to that boy group's graceful choreography, the MV is filled with stunning scenarios that have kept fans enchanted with intriguing mysteries. For instance, which two members owned the thorn-covered hands clasping together rather painfully? Hoshi has just debunked the mystery and the revelation is actually surprising.

In the 'Fallin' Flower' MV, Carats were captivated when a scene shows two hands covered in gold thorns reaching out to each other. Although it looks like coming in contact with each other will be painful, the hands still clasp and hold each other tightly in the end. Not surprisingly, fans have their own theories of what the hands symbolize in the music video. On the other hand, others were simply concerned about which members of SEVENTEEN the hands actually belonged to.

Eagle-eyed Carats were quick to point out that Joshua appears to have golden thorns on his hand in the 'Fallin' Flower' MV. While this somehow solves one part of the mystery, the other SEVENTEEN member was still unknown. A few fans have pointed out that the other hand might belong to anyone with graceful long fingers like Wonwoo or The8. However, a different video seems to have removed Joshua from the scene entirely.

In a behind-the-scenes look at the 'Fallin' Flower' MV, it is revealed that Hoshi is one of the SEVENTEEN members in the shot with the thorned hands. Interestingly, the scene looks rather similar to the one where Kwon Soonyoung is dancing while chained to The8. This led to speculations that the hands might belong to Hoshi and Xu Minghao. But if you guessed that Seo Myungho owns the mystery hand, you guessed it wrong.

A fan recently reached out to Hoshi on SEVENTEEN's official WeVerse asking whose hands were featured in the mysterious scene. At first, Kwon Soonyoung stated that he wouldn't reveal it just yet. However, he later admitted that the hand on the left belonged to him while the one on the right belonged to Jeonghan. Hoshi also explained that the hand-clasping scene with Yoon Jeonghan was the first one he shot for the music video.

SEVENTEEN is currently dominating the Oricon charts with 'Fallin' Flower'. The second Japanese single was released on April 1.
