Prince Harry left the UK and the Royal family to start a new life in the US with Meghan Markle and their son Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex briefly stayed in Canada before heading to Los Angeles, where they are currently living.

While it seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got what they wanted, the Duke of Sussex’s good friend said that he is struggling to adapt to his new life in Los Angeles. Dr. Jane Goodall shared that she and the prince kept in touch after the couple stepped down as senior royals last month.

“I don’t know how his career is going to map out, but, yes, I’ve been in touch, though I think he’s finding life a bit challenging right now,” she said.

The 86-year-old primatologist then noted that Meghan Markle has a huge influence in Prince Harry. When it was pointed out that Prince William and his brother are champions of the natural world, she agreed and said: “except they hunt and shoot.”

Dr. Jane Goodall then added that the Duke of Sussex will no longer do it since his wife is not a fan of hunting. “But I think Harry will stop because Meghan doesn’t like hunting, so I suspect that is over for him,” she said.

A previous report claims that Meghan Markle is living her dream after they moved to Los Angeles while Prince Harry is “star struck” over their new surroundings.

“I think she always wanted to be back here, she always dreamed of the full-blown Hollywood lifestyle and this kind of clout,” an insider told the Sun. “And I don't think it was even that hard to persuade Harry. He was smitten and star-struck over the whole thing. I don't think she had to twist his arm to move to Hollywood. Now she is back home, near her mom, her friends, and her PR team. She doesn't have to ask for permission from the royal family in how she chooses to live her life and she can acquire income in all sorts of fields.”

But due to the current coronavirus pandemic lockdown, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have to wait to get their chance to meet with Hollywood’s finest. A lot of people were not convinced that the Duke of Sussex is cut out for the Hollywood celebrity lifestyle, but his wife’s former friend believes that he would do well.

“I think Harry will like the change of scenery and the kind of attention they will be getting. It will also be easier on him than it was on her first husband,” she said.
