The coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent stay-at-home order in California and other states in the U.S. hasn't stopped the spread of rumors about the marriage of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. In fact, it looks like it gets worse even though the couple were frequently seen together on their social media posts.

Woman's Day is riding on the recent viral Twitter thread about the supposed rude attitude of DeGeneres to her show staff and guests. The tabloid published a story this week claiming that it is de Rossi who is suffering the most from the TV host's "diva" personality

A source of the publication alleged that while DeGeneres' staff is terrified of her, de Rossi has been suffering from the same problem for years. The tabloid assumed that the Scandal actress chooses to stay in the marriage because of fear as well as gratitude to DeGeneres.

It cited de Rossi's battle with bulimia years ago, saying the actress would forever be in debt to DeGeneres because the Finding Dory star saved her life. The source also suggested that de Rossi couldn't leave DeGeneres on fear that she could ruin her life if she did.

"You can't blame Portia if she doesn't want to leave her. Ellen's one of the most well connected, wealthy and powerful people in Hollywood and could easily run Portia out town if they were to break-up," the source claimed.

The tabloid then added that de Rossi now feels vindicated after a Twitter thread about DeGeneres went viral recently. The said tweet thread started when comedian Kevin T. Porter launched a donation drive for the LA Food Bank.

In the tweet, he urged his followers to share their most crazy stories about DeGeneres in exchange for him donating $2 for every story. The tweet received hundreds of replies, sharing their unforgettable experiences with the Emmy-winning host. Many of them claimed Ellen has been mean to her staff and guests.

The assumption that DeGeneres and de Rossi's marriage is falling apart because of the former's personality doesn't seem to reflect on what the public see on them now. The two have been sharing videos of them at home while adhering to the call for home isolation to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Ellen has been calling her celebrity friends while on quarantine at home and has been boasting to them that Portia has been learning how to cook since their staycation started. The latest of which was de Rossi's attempt to cook spicy fried noodle dish, Mi Goreng, for Ellen. Clearly, the TV host appreciates her wife's effort as she finished the dish with an empty plate.
