Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have kept a pretty quiet life since they officially tied the knot in 2018. However, recent reports revealed that the current crisis in the United Kingdom, as well as to the rest of the world, has appeared to have seriously affected their family.

It was reported earlier this month that the youngest York Princess' parents-in-law, George and Nicola Brooksbank have contracted the novel coronavirus. While her mother-in-law has been observing quarantine inside their home, Jack Brooksbank's father has been reportedly sent to "intensive care."

According to Metro UK, it is understood that the 71-year-old retired chartered accountant has been in a "serious but stable" condition. Amid the situation, Princess Eugenie and her husband reportedly see it as a "traumatic time."

The reports about the family's condition started to emerge earlier this month. However, no further updates have been given yet to the public. So, it has remained unknown whether everyone is now doing well, especially Jack Brooksbank's parents.

In a report released by Hello! magazine, though, it was said that the York Princess has been likely staying with her parents, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and Prince Andrew. This comes after several photos of the York Princess and Duchess circulated on various platforms as they continue to help individuals working at the frontlines, especially the NHS staff.

The publication added that Princess Eugenie and her mother also "donated lunch" to the staff of King's College Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital. They also reportedly gave out hand creams to the nurses in Lochaber, Scotland.

Meanwhile, the eldest York Princess, Beatrice has been also reportedly experiencing challenges in her own situation. As it happened, she and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have announced that they are no longer pursuing their supposed wedding on May 29.

As per Express UK, the spokesperson of the engaged couple officially made it known that they have already cancelled their wedding. This reportedly comes after the social distancing and lockdown guidelines in the United Kingdom have been extended for another three weeks.

It was also explained that Princess Eugenie's sister, Beatrice, as well as Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, is not even thinking of their wedding due to the current crisis that their home countries have been facing in the last few months. Even so, it is believed that they are currently staying together amid the lockdown in Edo's West London home.
