Prince Harry and Meghan Markle briefly stayed in Canada before heading to Los Angeles where they are currently residing with their son Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially stepped down from their senior royal roles on March 31, and they are now making a fresh start in Hollywood.

A new report claims that Meghan Markle is starting to “feel like herself” again after the Royal exit. The Duchess of Sussex was a former actress before tying the knot with Prince Harry in 2018, and it seems like being back in Hollywood is giving her a positive vibe.

“Harry and Meghan were really excited to move to LA,” an insider said. “The timing is tricky of course, but this is something they’ve been hoping for and seriously planning for several months now. They’ve been looking forward to [moving], and they’re very content and happy to finally be all settled in. And of course Meghan. Feels more at home too and she’s really starting to feel like herself.”

However, a previous report claimed that Meghan Markle is not too happy that their move to Los Angeles is not going well as planned. An insider said that the Duchess of Sussex is “heartbroken” that the coronavirus outbreak ruined her L.A. move plans to be closer to her mother Doria Ragland.

"After all, one of the main reasons she decided to live in LA was to be near her mom,” the source said. ”They’ve been WhatsApping and FaceTiming almost daily but obviously it’s not the same.”

Meghan Markle’s mother lives just outside Los Angeles. Many believed that she is one of the main reasons why the Duke ad Duchess of Sussex chose to settle down in California to start their new life. However, the former actress can’t spend time with her mom at the moment due to the implemented lockdown, which has recently been extended to May 15 in the Los Angeles area.

"Meghan jetted to LA amid the panic over the borders being shut down, but upon arriving they were quickly told it was too dangerous to isolate with Doria, so Meghan has been separated from her since their arrival,” another source said. "Despite being back in her home city, this isn’t the dream of returning home she’d imagined. It’s been a very isolating and lonely time for Meghan, who was desperate to get to her mum and have her be with her grandson, who she’s missing desperately."

Aside from not spending time together, Doria will also not be able to celebrate Archie’s first birthday with them.
