Blue Bloods season 10 episode 18 is coming this week on CBS, with the title "Hide in Plain Sight." There is a familiar face coming back within this episode, as Stacy Keach is set to return as Archbishop Kevin Kearns. Here's what we can expect with his arrival.
Blue Bloods season 10 episode 18 has been releasing photos featuring the Archbishop and Frank. These two usually get along, but they also recognize the responsibility they both carry. Perhaps, one of the situations that could strain their relationship is an issue between the NYPD and the church.
But based on the preview photos, it seems like they are talking about other things. Frank isn't also wearing his police uniform, so he's likely stepping into the Archbishop's domain. The two are likely discussing some important matters, which doesn't involve Frank's job at all.
The synopsis of Blue Bloods season 10 episode 18 didn't also give much detail about what's really going on with Frank and the Archbishop. Yet, it looks like it would be critical for Frank, as the promo notes the Archbishop comes to him with a serious problem.
There are also other interesting storylines coming in this week's episode. For instance, Baez and Danny will track down a drug dealer after two young models died from an overdose. As for Eddie and Jamie, the will team up to locate the mastermind behind a robbery.
Meanwhile, Blue Bloods has been off-air for three weeks and the series is finally coming back this week. Just like the others, the show will have shorter episodes than usual this season. Filming halted due to the threat of the COVID-19, so the series moved in a different direction.
Because of the changes, the series may also air a different season finale now. Moreover, another reason for the delay is that CBS likely wants to air more episodes closer in May. The network probably wants to stretch the current season to deliver more episodes on that month.
As for the status of the series in the future, there's still no official announcement about season 11. Yet, many were optimistic the series is coming back for more, as the series still generates good ratings, and cast and crew members are engaged to continue the show.
