Huawei will formally introduce the newest member of its Huawei MatePad clan with the Huawei MatePad 10.4. After weeks of speculation, the much-talked-about tablet is finally coming out and something that cost-conscious consumers may want to check out.

Huawei announced via Weibo, revealing the Huawei MatePad 10.4 will be unveiled this Thursday. Before that, there were already leaked images and specs on the upcoming device that could be of use for people tight on a budget. But what makes the upcoming Huawei tablet appealing is that it does not run short of power.

The Huawei MatePad 10.4 will be powered by a Kirin 810 chipset backed by either 4 or 8 GB of RAM. On the outside, the tablet will feature a 10.4-inch (1200x1200 pixel) FHD+ display along with slim bezels. An 8 MP front-facing camera is also present while another 8 MP rear camera is also included with LED flash. Also out to enhance the media experience of potential owners are Harman Kardon quad speakers for quality audio delivery.

The Huawei MatePad 10.4 will also have a choice between a 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. If that space is not enough, folks can use the provisions set for expansion via microSD card. Making sure that the tablet is kept powered is a 7,250 mAh battery. It will be available in LTE and WiFi versions and support Huawei's M-pen stylus. The stylus is not included and needs to be bought separately.

The Huawei MatePad 10.4 is not the only product that the company will be launching on Thursday. The Huawei Nova 7 series will also be unveiled with three new phones for folks who may be looking to buy a sensible budget-friendly device. These are the Nova 7, Nova 7 SE, and the Nova 7 Pro where the Nova 7 SE looms as the cheapest of the lot.

The features of the three handsets remain limited for now although all will be running on a Kirin SoC. The Nova 7 will come armed with a Kirin 985 SoC, the Nova 7 SE with a Kirin 820, and the Nova 7 Pro powered by a Kirin 990 SoC with 5G.

Pricing has yet to be revealed for all the products Huawei plans to unveil this Thursday. As far as the Huawei MatePad 10.4, it is speculated to be priced cheaper than the Huawei MatePad Pro 5G. Details such as other specs and pricing should be known on Apr. 23. It was not mentioned when the device would be made available, same as to which countries it would be made available.
