RM and J-Hope recently did a live broadcast to entertain their fans while in lockdown. Instead of the usual chit-chat, the 94-liners decided to have an activity.

The BTS boys decorated their light sticks with stickers, paints, etc. Although RM and J-Hope struggled during the creative process, they ended up creating unique and beautiful custom-made ARMY bombs. (Check out the photo here).

ARMYs have been personalizing their light sticks for years, so after watching RM and J-Hope’s Vlive, they took to Weverse to share their masterpiece. When J-Hope went online on the social media platform, he praised a couple of ARMYs’ customized light sticks.

However, J-Hope stumbled upon a photo of an ARMY holding an imaginary ARMY bomb that they drew. (Check out the photo here). The BTS rapper found the snap hilarious and left a comment. “Hehehehehehehehehehe Why don’t you have an army bomb,” he wondered.

Other ARMYs knew exactly why that one fan doesn’t own a light stick — he/she is as broke as them. After buying merch, concert tickets, memberships, albums, and more, some ARMYs are too broke to buy ARMY bombs, especially the more recent versions.

“Hobi asking why don’t you have an ARMY bomb. Sir, I got some news: We don’t have money,” one tweeted. “Not at the way Hobi asked a fan why you don’t have and ARMY bomb. Bruh, we broker than the word broke,” another one shared. “Hobi doesn’t know that some of us are broke. He just sprinkled salt on my wounds,” one ARMY wrote.

Meanwhile, an ARMY mom made RM and J-Hope burst out laughing during their live stream. As the boys were doing their finishing touches on their customized ARMY bombs, they read a comment that stopped them from their tracks.

“It’s the same skill level as our 8-year-old daughter,” the ARMY mom commented. RM then assumed that the fan was talking about his work because the comment was left after he held his personalized ARMY bomb up to the camera.

Of course, the ARMY mom was just probably teasing RM and J-Hope. Fans have a close connection with the boys that they sometimes feel like they are just talking to their friends. Plus, at least RM and J-Hope have light sticks to decorate, unlike some broke ARMYs out there.

This fun activity of RM and J-Hope is just another attempt of the boys to keep their fans entertained during the coronavirus lockdown. Last weekend, Big Hit held a two-day live stream on YouTube of BTS’s earlier concerts.
