It has been more than a month now since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially left their royal lives, and relocated to Los Angeles. While the Sussex couple was said to have expected a fresh start to the new chapter of their lives outside the United Kingdom, the case appears to be different as they are, reportedly, in a "rough" place.

Their move to the United States was just in time before Canada closed its borders due to the COVID-19 crisis. It is believed that the crisis has "disrupted" their plans, and has caused real challenges in their new lives, especially for Prince Harry.

According to New Idea, royal expert Phil Dampier stated that the royal-born Prince has been "going through" a "real ringer of emotions." This has, reportedly, become more apparent when the Sussex couple learned what happened to Prince Charles.

In March, the 71-year-old Heir Apparent contracted the novel coronavirus. He, along with his wife, Camilla, had to observe strict quarantine protocols inside Birkhall. Although the royal couple has since recovered, it was said that Prince Harry felt even more "disconnected" from his family. He is feeling "isolated" and "powerless," and this is making him more "upset," the expert added.

In a report released by People, a source close to the situation revealed that, indeed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been feeling "helpless" these days. It was asserted that while they go through the news about what's going on, especially in their community, they realized that they wanted to help.

This, reportedly, has caused the couple to reach out to their community and work with Project Angel Food. As explained, it is a non-profit charity that "cooks, prepares, and delivers" food to people who are noted as the most vulnerable in today's crisis.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already gone out of their home to deliver meals thrice in April. However, Phil Dampier contended that the photos, featuring the couple as they deliver the meals, have shown that the Duke of Sussex is looking "tired and gaunt."

He continued to share that it has appeared that Prince Harry has "lost weight," and his "happy demeanor" has been replaced with a much more "serious expression." He looks a bit "cadaverous," the expert described.

Amid the alarming descriptions, the royal expert seemingly confirmed that Kate Middleton has likely reached out already to her brother-in-law. He said that despite all the "rift," especially among the royal fab-four, the Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly, called the royal-born Prince to show her "support and love."
