American Horror Story season 10 is officially happening on FX, but details about it remain scarce. Although the cast list has been previously confirmed, there still a question whether or not the anthology series will include other familiar faces from the past once it arrives.

Now, it looks like showrunner Ryan Murphy hinted in his recent Instagram post that Rubber Man is coming back in American Horror Story season 10. This is an iconic character from AHS: Murder House, so it would be nostalgic seeing him again in the new installment.

Murphy captioned the photo: "Coming soon..." and this further fuelled the speculations regarding the potential appearance of Rubber Man in American Horror Story season 10. However, it should be noted that nothing is confirmed at the moment.

Yet, Murphy tends to tease what's coming on the next installment on his Instagram account. For instance, he previously announced the cast members via the social media platform. He shared a black-and-white clip with an ocean background and creepy music.

The video featured the new and returning cast in the next season. One of the notable names as the newest addition is Macaulay Culkin. But, it's still a mystery what role will he play in the anthology series. It remains to be seen whether he's one of the protagonists or villains.

Meanwhile, other returning cast members in American Horror Story season 10 include Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who are both missing in the previous installment for the first time. It was also confirmed that Paulson will be playing a "central character" in the new season.

Adina Porter, Finn Wittrock, Billie Lourd, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Leslie Grossman, and Angelica Ross are all coming back in the latest installment as well. Some notable names are missing including Cody Fern and Emma Roberts. They could be added along the way, or might be taking a break this season.

Also, Dylan McDermott is willing to return in American Horror Story season 10, if given a chance. In a Twitter reply, the actor implied that he's open to coming back and he's just "standing by." Nothing is confirmed right now, but the actor already made sporadic appearances across the franchise.

As for the release date of American Horror Story season 10, everything is still uncertain. It should be noted that the anthology series usually arrives in the fall. But due to the current global health crisis, some things may change and there could be a potential delay.
