Everyone sees the Royal family members as prim and proper. Both male and female royals always look put together with excellent etiquette every time they step out in public.
With this in mind, many expect the royal family members to be always at their best behavior even when no one is watching. However, Kate Middleton has shared multiple times that she lets her kids be kids. No extreme restrictions whatsoever.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are hands-on parents. Despite their hectic schedule, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge always see to it that they put their children on top of their priority list.
“Honestly, you get to the end of the day and you write down the list of all the things that you've done on that day,” Kate Middleton shared in a BBC interview earlier this month. “So you pitch a tent take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day - they have had a lovely time - but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day that's for sure.”
Kate Middleton has always encouraged Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to have fun and play outside. But when they do have activities inside the house, the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t mind if they make a mess.
“I've done that with George and Charlotte—making pizza dough. They love it because they can get their hands messy,” she previously said while making food for a Commonwealth Big Lunch at St Luke's Community Center. Kate Middleton also revealed during an engagement in Luton that, “When I try to do this with George at home, chocolate and the golden syrup goes everywhere. George makes so much mess. It’s chaos."
It has been noted multiple times that Prince William and Kate Middleton are amazing on and off camera. In fact, BBC's Tina Daheley revealed how stunned she was by how normal the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are.
"I think the thing that people sometimes forget is that they're members of the Royal Family, they can perform if you like,” she said. "But the thing that always strikes me is how normal they are. It did feel like I was just having a chat with people."
It seems like all the claims about Prince William and Kate Middleton were true. It really is possible for royal family members to be as normal like everyone else.
