Suri Cruise just celebrated her 14th birthday last month. Many are curious if she is now ready to follow the footsteps of her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
The National Enquirer implied in its latest story that Suri may not be ready to take the plunge to stardom but her mother has already been preparing her for that. The tabloid claimed that Holmes is also getting everything in order for her to take a new role of becoming the next Hollywood's most famous stage mother.
It also noted that Holmes started her acting career at the age of 18, hence it may not be too long before Suri could make a name in the industry. The outlet claimed the Dawson Creek's actress has gotten Suri into acting training in preparation for her future projects.
The Enquirer alleged that Suri has been receiving offers since she was around eight or nine. It added that Holmes doesn't even need the help of Cruise to launch Suri's career.
"...Katie believes she's shown an amazing aptitude for the craft. Katie just needs to manage Suri's schedule around her schoolwork, but she believes her daughter is ready to make a splash right," a source of the tabloid said.
Gossip Cop, however, noted that everything the National Enquirer has claimed about Holmes' plans for her daughter were all fabricated. It also reached out to Holmes' rep, who denied that the Batman Begin actress is preparing herself to be Suri's stage mom.
Gossip Cop added that the Enquirer wasn't exactly a trusted outlet for news about Katie Holmes. It previously claimed that the Ray Donovan actress was "wasting away" and having self-esteem issues following her split from Jamie Foxx. It was followed by another story that Holmes was trash-talking her former boyfriend.
It is also worth noting that Holmes values the privacy of her daughter. She has been very cautious about Suri's privacy ever since she was born. Katie has worked hard to ensure that the daughter will live a normal life unlike other celebrities' children.
During Suri's 14th birthday, Katie shared a rare photo of the teen. The snap showed the back of Suri's head that was adorned by a wreath of flowers and ribbon. This clearly showed that Holmes doesn't want her daughter to be the center of attention than she already has.
Back in June 2012 when Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise, there were speculations that Katie did it because of the Mission Impossible actor's devotion to Scientology. Katie, allegedly, feared the church and the possibility that it would use Suri in its publicity stunts.
