Cole Sprouse has been accused of cheating on his girlfriend and Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart with Kaia Gerber. Sprouse has already addressed the rumor last month. He slammed those who are spreading false accusations against him and admitted that he got death threats because of it.
However, Star insisted that Sprouse and Reinhart are still having issues with their relationship. The tabloid alleged that the couple is fighting over Sprouse's relationship with Gerber.
A source of the outlet claimed that the Disney Channel actor "got busted" for hanging out with Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber's daughter despite being in a relationship with Reinhart. Lili reportedly demanded an explanation about the rumor.
Cole allegedly swore to Lili that there's nothing happening between him and Kaia. However, Star's source claimed the actor's assurance to Lili that there was nothing between him and the model is not entirely true.
"Cole has a major crush on Kaia, and things get flirty when they're together, but that's as far as it's gone," the source claimed before saying that Sprouse and Reinhart remain an item despite the former's attraction to Gerber.
Gossip Cop noted that Cole and Kaia are friends for years and there is no indication that they got involved romantically. The publication added that Star is not particularly reliable when it comes to its reporting about Gerber.
Earlier this year, it also published a story alleging that Kaia was pregnant with Peter Davidson's baby. The then-couple was also reportedly planning to elope.
Even George Clooney got involved in the made-up story, stating the actor allegedly warned his friends and Kaia's parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, that Davidson was only after Kaia's inheritance. Crawford and Gerber are long time close pals of Clooney.
The story was completely false. Crawford's rep confirmed to Gossip Cop that Kaia was not pregnant with the former Saturday Night Live comedian's baby. They were also not secretly engaged and not planning to elope. Kaia and Pete only dated for three months last year.
The latest allegation against Cole Sprouse came after Lili Reinhart went on a rant over the #ColeSprouseIsOverParty that went trending on Twitter last week. In her series of tweets, the actress said people who participate in cancel culture need professional help. The tweets have been deleted since.
This wasn't the first time that Lili fired back to defend Cole from his critics. Last month, she also took to her Instagram Stories to defend the actor when the cheating rumors came out.
