Kpop acts BTS, TVXQ, and TWICE made it to the list of 2019's Top 10 Bestselling Pop Groups based on tickets sold, based on data gathered by Touring Data. It came as no surprise that BTS dominated the list on the top spot, beating other international acts who went on tour.

According to a report by All Kpop, BTS topped the list by selling over 1,337,000 tickets for its Love Yourself Tour which culminated in a final show in Seoul Korea in October 2019 which was attended by over 129,000 ARMYs.

BTS also had a successful year as it dominated awards shows both in Korea and overseas, including MAMA, Golden Disc, Seoul Music Awards, Soribada, and Melon Music Awards. They also hauled awards from the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and American Music Awards.

RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook extended their winning streak this year by beating their record in pre-selling and also dethroning Justin Bieber in Billboard's Social chart. BTS made a comeback last February 21 with their Map of the Soul 7 album.

Trailing BTS is the Backstreet Boys who are still enjoying strong support from their fans 24 years after they debuted in 1996. BSB sold 1,067,000+ for their DNA World Tour last year.

The Jonas Brothers, who reunited as a group and toured the world also sold 1,035,000+ tickets for their concert series while British pop icons the Spice Girls, minus Victoria Beckham were welcomed back by 697,400+ fans on their return to the stage.

Another 90s group Take That, went on tour and sold 656,200+, while Westlife's reunion without Brian McFadden netted 617,100+ tickets. Sandy & Lea landed on the seventh place of the list with 563,900+

SM Entertainment's duo TVXQ, composed of Yunho and Max Changmin sold 515,100+ concert tickets for their Circle Tour last year while JYP Entertainment's TWICE sold off 414,000+ tickets for their TWICELIGHGHTS Tour. TWICE is expected to make their comeback this June with nine original members.

It can be recalled that Mina sat out promotions for TWICE's Feel Special album to focus on recovering from her anxiety.

As a result of their comeback announcement, TWICE's 5th EP Summer Nights  released back in 2018 saw an increase of 148.7% in US unit sales while their 2017 Japanese compilation album #TWICE  was up by 226%, All Kpop reported.
