Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez reportedly expecting their first child together. A tabloid claimed that Lopez is having a miracle baby at age 50.
NW published a claim this week that JLo and her fiancé ARod had a "very happy accident" and will soon welcome a baby in their lives. The tabloid alleged that the couple wasn't expecting the pregnancy for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the Hustlers actress is already 50 and is a little bit past the ideal age to get pregnant. Secondly, NW pointed to Rodriguez's steroid history. The former New York Yankee star's past steroid use could have affected his capability to have another child.
A source of the tabloid claimed JLo has been spotted stepping out of a gym before the coronavirus lockdown and she was wearing a crop top that exposed her belly. The insider added that the "Waiting for Tonight" singer was also seen affectionately touching her tummy at the birthday party for ARod's daughter, Ella. These made the tabloid assume that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant.
"Jen sort of assumed she was too old to get pregnant, even though she's in the best shape and health of her life. Plus Alex figured his swimmers no longer swam after years of steroid use while he was an athlete," the source claimed.
NW wrote Lopez has also cut back on her grueling workout routine due to the pregnancy. The insider added that the Second Act actress has been packing her meals with iron and has been into green juice lately.
Lopez previously shared her secrets for having a toned body at the age of 50. She said working out is always a priority to her and she has been a fan of both fitness trainers Tracy Anderson and David Kirsch.
The singer's workout with Anderson involved a more relaxed and freestyle approach. She does incorporate arm weights to tone her butt, thighs, and core. Her workout with Kirsch is slightly intense as it typically involves kickboxing, circuit training, lunges, burpees, and ab workouts.
As good news as it may be for JLo and ARod, unfortunately, it is true. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who confirms that the pregnancy rumor is false.
It can be recalled that in December 2019, the National Enquirer had almost the same headline as NW. The tabloid alleged at the time that JLo has been telling her friends that she wants more babies with Alex even if she is already 50.
The couple has four children together. JLo has 11-year-old twins Max and Emme from her marriage to singer Mark Anthony. ARod, on the other hand, also has two kids, 14-year-old Natasha and 11-year-old Ella, from his previous marriage.
