Day6 dropped their most anticipated comeback with the album The Book of Us: The Demon on May 11 but they will unfortunately, have to sit out promotions, according to JYP Entertainment.

According to the agency, they have made the sudden decision to cancel all activities for the promotion after more than one member spoke up about experiencing signs of psychological anxiety. The agency said that the members immediately sought consultation with medical professionals and based on doctors' advice, the affected members should focus on receiving treatment and getting sufficient rest to recover from their mental health issues.

JYP explained that the diagnosis left them no recourse but to temporarily cancel all of Day6's activities, including the planned promotions for  The Book of Us: The Demon. The agency said that the album and the MV will be released on schedule, but Day6 members will not be appearing in music shows or having fan meetings to promote the album.

The label asked My Day, DAY6's official fandom to continue supporting the group's music as they go on temporary hiatus and encouraged them to continue streaming their album to cheer the members on. In turn, My Day swiftly turned to social media to assure their support for the members. They trended the hashtag #We_wait_for_DAY6 to show a united fandom who will remain loyal to their music, Hello Kpop reported.

Day6's The Book of Us: The Demon was the third part of The Book Of Us trilogy with the first one and the second one entitled The Book of Us: Gravity and The Book of Us: Entropy.
