Jennifer Lopez is, allegedly, in a feud with Alex Rodriguez's ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. The two have, reportedly, never been on speaking terms since JLo started dating ARod.
According to the Globe, Lopez and Scurtis don't have a friendly relationship, unlike Rodriguez and JLo's ex-husband, Marc Anthony. The tabloid alleged that the Hustlers actress and ARod are just putting on a happy front when it comes to Scurtis especially in front of Rodriguez's two daughters from his marriage to Cynthia.
The source of the tabloid implied that Lopez even tried to persuade Rodriguez to lower his child support and alimony payments to Scurtis. Apparently, the singer feels that ARod's ex-wife is capable of earning her own money since she holds a master's degree in psychology. The "On The Flood" singer, allegedly, made sure that her opinion would reach Cynthia.
As for Scurtis, she is, reportedly, furious at the way J.Lo acts friendly with her daughters. Cynthia, allegedly, feels like the singer is trying to buy the love of her children by buying them designer clothes, perfumes, and makeup.
Gossip Cop debunked the Globe's claim about Lopez and Scurtis' relationship. The publication cited the graduation of Rodriguez and Scurtis' daughter, Natasha, last year.
The family was pictured together along with Lopez and her twins, Emme and Max, as well as Scurtis' beau Angel Nicolas. In the photo that was shared by Alex on his social media account, it doesn't look like the two women have issues. ARod also posted another family photo of them in November 2019.
Gossip Cop also reached out to its source who is close to the situation, who confirmed that JLo and Cynthia are not feuding. The outlet also noted that Lopez wouldn't be worried about the support that Rodriguez is giving to his daughters and ex-wife as she and the former New York Yankee superstar have an abundance of it.
This is not the first time that it was rumored that Alex and Cynthia had an issue about child support and alimony payments. It was previously reported that Scurtis got mad at the NBL star because he, allegedly, wanted to lower the amount of support he is giving to her. Last year, it was reported that ARod has been giving $115,000 a month tax-free in combined spousal and child support to his former wife.
Alex and Cynthia married in 2002. She filed for divorce in July 2008, citing emotional abandonment of her and their children, as well as "extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct" by her husband.
