Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined a staff meeting of mental health charity workers in the U.S. The surprise video call from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex uplifted and shocked the staff at the same time, as they were not expecting the royals to pop up.

According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry and Meghan entered the Zoom staff meeting of the Crisis Text Line Wednesday from their Los Angeles home. A photo of the said meeting was shared online in a private Twitter account.

"It's not every day that Meghan and Harry jump into your staff meeting & champion the work you do! Blessed to still be working during these crazy times!" Ricky Neal, one of the staff members in the meeting, shared.

Neal works at the Atlanta office of the Crisis Text Line, which is actually an affiliate of the U.K. charity, Shout. Prince Harry and Meghan helped launch the Crisis Text Line last year. Prince William and Kate, on the other hand, is helping out the U.K. charity.

The organization provides support from people suffering from mental health issues via text. It's unclear, however, what Prince Harry and Meghan told the staff during the meeting but as advocates of mental health, they likely acknowledged the charity for remaining steadfast in their work amid the lockdowns and quarantines.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan gave a peek of the interiors of their Los Angeles house. Seen from the photo is a large painting of African-American people, which is hanging on a wooden panel. There are also large black lamps visible in the background.

The Los Angeles house is actually owned by Tyler Perry, the Hollywood mogul who built his Medea empire. Reports stated that Oprah Winfrey helped Prince Harry and Meghan land Perry's house but it's unclear if they are staying here as guests or are actually paying rent.

But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still apparently looking for a more permanent home for their Los Angeles stay. The couple plan to live half of their time in Malibu as they take in more work stateside.

Due to the pandemic crisis, however, Prince Harry and Meghan had to delay the launch of their new foundation, Archewell, since they are aware people will focus more on the coronavirus. Sources said that Prince Harry and Meghan might likely kickstart their new foundation by the fall season, assuming that the public health crisis is more manageable. For the moment, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are following government guidelines and staying at home, if they are not helping out at charities.
