Prince Harry and Prince William have reportedly been back in touch and speaking to each other for weeks since Prince Charles had coronavirus. The Prince of Wales was sick with COVID-19 in early April but he, fortunately, didn't have to be hospitalized.

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl confirmed that Prince Charles' coronavirus fight brought Prince Harry and Prince William closer together. Since then, the royal brothers have been making regular calls to each other.

"They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch." Nicholl said.

This also confirmed earlier reports that Prince Harry and Prince William have been communicating despite the former's step back from royal life, which caused a royal drama in January. A source said that Prince Charles' sons don't have the same close relationship as before but it would be impossible for the Dukes of Sussex and Cambridge to stop talking to each other.

According to The Sun, Prince Harry first confided in Prince William about his decision to leave for America. The Duke of Sussex wasn't asking for advice but he told his older brother out of respect and before it came out anywhere else.

Prince William apparently had concerns over his younger brother's decision of going on a different path from his royal life. Yet the Duke of Cambridge acknowledged the importance of this decision for Prince Harry.

But the timing of Prince Harry's decision to exit royal life with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, "couldn't have come at worse time" amid this public health crisis, according to the report. However, Prince Harry was determined about his choice and nothing would have changed the timeline of their plans to move to Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Prince William gave a shout out to Prince Harry in a letter he wrote for The Diana Award, a charity inspired by Princess Diana, their deceased mother. The Duke of Cambridge wrote that he and his brother are grateful for the work of the charity in supporting the youth during this crisis.

The letter was shared on The Diana Award Instagram account, which also thanked both Prince William and Prince Harry for their support all these years. The Diana Award also posted photos of the brothers from their previous appearances at the charity's events.
