Prince William wrote a letter to the charity honoring his mother, Princess Diana. The Duke of Cambridge didn't forget to include his brother, Prince Harry, in his message to The Diana Awards.

The second in line to the British throne wrote the letter to thank the staff and volunteers who continue to work and help communities amid the coronavirus pandemic. Prince William indicated that he and Prince Harry remain very appreciate of the value of the charity's work.

"I wanted to write to send my support and thanks to all the staff, volunteers and supporters of The Diana Award," the Duke of Cambridge said. "My brother and I remain appreciative of the work you do to foster, develop and support young people, particularly at this time of uncertainty."

In return, The Diana Award acknowledged Prince William's letter in an Instagram post and thanked both the Cambridges and Sussexes for their support. The post also included photos of Prince William and Prince Harry's interactions with the foundation members in the past years.

The Diana Award focuses on the youth, especially their mental health. During this public health crisis, their official website has set up resources for how to manage life while in quarantine.

This comes Prince William and Prince Harry are apparently in touch since the latter moved to Los Angeles with Meghan Markle to start their life outside of the royal spotlight. According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex have been doing video calls together, including with their father Prince Charles.

Prince Harry also calls up his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, regularly. Aside from being in touch with his family, Prince Harry is also overseeing the charities he left behind in London even when he is abroad.

Nicholl also said that the reconnection of the royal brothers comes at the right time since Prince Harry is apparently feeling lost and homesick in America. The reconnection has also tempered down the alleged tension between Meghan and Kate Middleton.

"I think there is a sense of relief on both sides that this high drama is now a thing of the past," Nicholl said. "I think Kate and William miss Harry and Meghan to a degree, but certainly they miss Harry [being] around and part of their lives."

It's unclear when Prince Harry would be able to return to London amid this coronavirus crisis since travels are being limited. The Duke of Sussex was supposed to be back last April for a brief event, which was canceled.
