Blake Shelton, reportedly, gave his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, a very generous wedding gift. The present was, allegedly, a $13 million mansion in Los Angeles.
According to In Touch, Blake and Gwen are set to move to their new love nest after the former bought a $13.2 million house in the Encino neighborhood in L.A. The tabloid claimed the new real estate purchase of the 'God's Country" crooner was to celebrate their recent nuptials.
In Touch cited the earlier claim of its sister publication, Star, that The Voice judges had a backyard wedding at Shelton's ranch in Oklahoma late last month. The tabloid alleged that the couple had a wedding ceremony with a few close family members and friends while some of their celebrity friends witnessed the event via Zoom.
It was earlier reported that the couple had purchased their first house together. The vast estate was purchased for $13.2 million and the mansion was situated in a 1.6-acre land.
The property boasts a 13,00-square-feet living space with a massive backyard pool and an inset spa, and a spacious cabana with a full wet bar and outdoor kitchen. The house also has top-of-the-line amenities including a state-of-the-art home theater and a spacious huge kitchen.
While it's true that the couple has a $13 million estate, it is not true that it was Blake's wedding gift to the No Doubt singer. The two are not engaged and never got married recently.
Blake has previously said that if ever he and Gwen got engaged, they will inform their fans directly. He reiterated that the engagement announcement will not come from them and not from any tabloid.
It is also true that the "Nobody But You" singers are quarantining together but not in their new home. The couple is currently staying at Blake's ranch in Oklahoma along with Gwen's three sons from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale.
The couple appeared in one of the at-home episodes of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last month. During the episode, the couple talked about their life in quarantine but there was no mention of an engagement or a wedding. Stefani just gave his boyfriend her best at-home haircut and she wasn't wearing an engagement ring.
Meanwhile, Shelton is currently serving as one of the four judges in The Voice Season 18, which airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The show is set to air its finale this week. Blake is also set to appear in the network's fundraiser special Red Nose Day on May 21.
