Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, reportedly, always gets creative when it comes to giving gifts to Prince Harry for birthdays or anniversaries. The pair recently celebrated their second year of marriage and, despite the lockdown, Meghan was able to make something beautiful for her husband, the Duke of Sussex.

According to Us Weekly, Meghan designed an anniversary card for Prince Harry, where she wrote a "beautiful, sentimental" message. The Duchess of Sussex took up calligraphy before she became a royal and she doesn't let this handwriting skill go to waste.

Last year, Meghan also put her skill to use by writing down their wedding speech in paper for Prince Harry. A source told People that this vow has been framed but it's unclear if the Sussexes display it at home.

For Prince Harry's birthday in 2019, Meghan also recreated their trip to Botswana in their backyard at Frogmore Cottage. A source said that Botswana is always a special and happy place for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as this was where they first realized they should be together in 2016.

The source said that Meghan set up a tent and had sleeping bags to recreate and recapture where they first fell in love. The duchess also cooked dinner for her husband for their first married year together.

The same source also said that since it's Prince Harry and Meghan's second year anniversary, they based their gifts to each other on cotton. According to reports, cotton symbolizes interconnection for couples and learning to be more flexible to each other.

Since it's still advisable not to go out or dine-in, due to the coronavirus, a source revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan spent a quiet day in the L.A. mansion with their son, Archie Harrison. It's the same way they celebrated Archie's birthday a few weeks ago.

Meanwhile, according to Harper's Bazaar, Prince Harry and Meghan had Zoom calls for their second anniversary. They apparently had chats with their wedding vendors to reminisce about their special day. They also talked with friends and family members on the video conferencing platform, while enjoying margaritas and Mexican food. Overall, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chilled down for their anniversary.

Prince Harry and Meghan were married on May 19, 2018 at the St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. They made history by being the first interracial marriage in the British royal family.
