Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they announced back in January that they will be stepping down as senior royals. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a couple of reasons for their withdrawal such as wanting to focus more on their family and charities, be “financially independent,” and live a “peaceful life.”

It’s no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a hard time with the media after they said their “I dos” in 2018. The couple just couldn’t take a break from all the criticisms, and it appeared that the negative and unnecessary treatment was too much for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to handle that it became one of the reasons why they wanted to quit royal life.

The only time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talked about their royal exit was during their withdrawal announcement earlier this year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved on with their lives after they officially stepped down from their roles at the end of March. They relocated to Los Angeles with their son Archie and announced that they will be starting a new foundation called Archewell.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have kept a relatively low profile since turning their backs on royal life and moving to LA. Now, a new report claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may finally give an update on their royal exit.

Although Queen Elizabeth released a statement confirming that she and the Royal Family support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision, the couple was obliged to follow some ultimatums. One of those demands is to not use the word “royal” in their future activities.

Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle agreed to the deal, their Sussex Royal website is still active until today. However, a royal expert believes that the couple will officially close it in June.

“They did, after all, cease to be working members of the royal family with a view to becoming financially independent on 31st March,” Richard Fitzwilliams said. “It should not be too onerous for them to keep to the agreement.”

If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not close their Sussex Royal website next month, the royal expert suggested that they may issue a statement to explain why they continued using the brand despite Queen Elizabeth’s order. There is also a possibility that they will launch a site for Archewell and may give an update on their new venture after they close their previous site.
