With May coming to a close, gamers are eager to see what new games could be coming out in June on PlayStation Plus Games. It appears that one of the titles has already been announced, no other than "Call of Duty: WWII." This is a popular game title that should make up for a disappointing offering in May. It can be recalled that many were displeased with the free game titles. Some even went to the extent of petitioning Sony to change them but to no avail.
"Call of Duty: WWII" should be something to try out. The game got decent reviews, some lauding the campaigns on the war strategy game. There were minor flaws singled out but the game remains something worth playing. It officially came out last May 26 and most are now wondering what other games the PlayStation Plus store has planned.
Sony may have its work cut out for them following a disappointing May. The games offered last month were "Farming Simulator" and "Cities: Skyline." Both games are scheduled to exit by June 1.
As of this writing, there is still no word on what the other free game/s will be. There are suggestions that it could be "Marvel's Spider-Man." The game title cropped up following a shady listing that also had the PS Plus logo next to it. Some say it is a PS Store glitch, an issue that has happened in the past.
If not "Marvel's Spider-Man," some are raising their suggestions on what the other game could be. Games such as "Gravity Rush 2" and "Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap" are other game titles that gamers have been alleging.
However, it appears that a game title that will likely be the other game for PlayStation Plus Games for June is even bigger than those titles. In a video leak, it appears that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will be the game available next month. Twitter user @Nibel was the one who shared the leaked video although it remains unofficial.
Like "Call of Duty: WWII," Star Wars: Battlefront 2" has its share of glitches as well. This involved loot boxes but that did not stop the game from being a hit with players. For now, there is no official word on what the other game for June will be. But based on the titles in the rumor mill, it should be something popular as well to erase the stigma of a very forgettable May offering of PlayStation Plus Games.
