Another bloodshed awaits fans in the upcoming The King: Eternal Monarch Episode 14. Both Emperor Lee Gon and Detective Jung Tae Eul would end up in the emergency room but on different scenes.

In the previous episode, Luna (Kim Go Eun) posing as Tae Eul visited Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) in his hotel room while Captain Jo Yeong (Woo Do Hwan) is out to get some beer. At first, the King did not notice the difference between Tae Eul and Luna.

It was already late when he realized that she was not his girlfriend. Lee Gon already took a sip of the drink that was laced with poison that Luna brought in. While on the verge of collapsing to the floor, Lee Gon remembered the day his father was killed 25 years ago.

Then he finally remembered the face of the man who saved his life and left Tae Eul's ID. It was him. Adult Lee Gon saved the young him.

In the upcoming The King: Eternal Monarch Episode 14, it looks like Captain Jo will find his unconscious boss as he and National Forensic Service employee Kim He Joo are seen rushing the King to the hospital. It is unclear why He Jo was with Captain Jo at the hospital.

Tae Eul will also end up in the hospital as she was seen in the teaser being stabbed by Luna. It can be recalled that when the detective asked Luna in the previous episode if they could talk in person, the criminal from the other world warned Tae Eul that she needs to die if they will see each other.

Prior to that the lady detective and the rest of her team will be out in the field but they would fall into a trap. They are seen rushing out of the house before it exploded.

Meanwhile, in the other world, it seems like Lee Lim (Lee Jung Jin) will take advantage of the King's absence in the palace and will try to claim the throne. However, he is shocked when he is greeted by a man that looks like him. Is there another Lee Lim's doppelganger?

In the earlier episodes, the traitor prince killed his doppelganger in the Republic of Korea. He brought the body to the Kingdom so the people believed that the palace guards killed him. The late Prince Buyeong (Jeon Moo Song) performed an autopsy on the body.

Why is there another man that looked like Lee Lim then? Will Tae Eul survive her injury? Find out in the upcoming The King: Eternal Monarch Episode 14 on June 5, at 10 p.m. KST.
