There is interest brewing for Moussa Dembele, but any potential moves out of Barcelona will have to wait. It appears despite his injury struggles, several teams have remained interested in the 23-year-old forward. But according to his agent, there is no official offers on the table - meaning he is likely to remain at Camp Nou for now.

Speaking L'Equippe, Moussa Sissko made a short statement concerning Dembele. He does not see a move out of Cam Nou happening right now despite alleged interest from teams like Arsenal and Liverpool. Rather than try his luck with another team, Dembele prefers to show Barca that he deserves a regular spot on the first team. In short, he may want to prove his worth first than taking the easy route. And once he does achieve that, perhaps moving to another team could be entertained - possibly with bigger money and opportunities on the table.

Between Arsenal and Liverpool, it was the latter who seemed bent on trying to pluck the French national from Barcelona. They were willing to take Dembele on loan with an option to buy if Blaugrana was open to the idea. To date, nothing has reached that point, indicating that Barca may want to see first how well Dembele manages his situation and show that he can be an asset to FC Barcelona.

Since arriving in 2017, Dembele has struggled to show his ware to Quique Setien and company. Injuries have made things worse, but that has not kept him down. He seems bent on showing Barca that he is worth every penny of the investment made for him. When healthy, he has shown he can be a gun to rely on. In 74 appearances across all competitions, the French football player has scored 19 goals. One can just imagine how those goals could have been more had he been healthy throughout.

Durability remains a concern, meaning Dembele may want to pay more attention to his health. He could wait for his injuries to heal completely before springing back to action. Being more cautious when he plays is also a possibility. If he prefers to maintain his level of play, it may be Barca ending up offering him to other teams due to his inability to stay healthy.

Worth noting as well is that Barcelona has mentioned him as part of a deal to acquire Miralem Pjanic of Juventus. Unless he can show he can be seen more on the field, he could end up moving even if he intends to play on for Blaugrana.
