Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly pay Kylian Mbappe a higher salary if he signs to a new contract that will extend his stay at Parc des Princes. The new offer will entitle the French striker to a weekly salary of £515,000 or roughly the same take-home pay that his PSG teammate Neymar presently enjoys.

The extension package will allow PSG to keep the top marksman beyond 2020 or when Mbappe's existing deal with the Parisians expires. It is estimated that the French giants pay Neymar around £27 million per year with the tax duties already cleared. Mbappe will get the same should he agree to keep playing France.

According to Sky Sports, the lucrative contract for the World Cup winner's review was put together to make him stay. Mbappe is the subject of transfer bids from top clubs in Europe with Real Madrid and Liverpool as the forward's possible destination when he decides to leave French football.

"PSG have already made it very clear to him that they want to offer him the same sort of financial terms that somebody like Neymar enjoys, in light of the fact that Mbappe has become one of the real stars of the club," the report quoted French football journalist Jonathan Johnson.

Johnson, however, is saying that a huge salary bump up will not necessarily mean that PSG will get a lock on the French superstar. It would seem that the 21-year-old prefers to look forward and play for a team that will help him win club and personal honors.

It is a good sign that the Parisians are now in the Champions League quarterfinals, which should be a hint to Mbappe that he is part of a winning team.

But the offers from rival clubs will not go away until PSG has secured Mbappe's signature for an extension. And the Frenchman appeared to encourage the wooing coming from Real Madrid, for instance.

Los Blancos have made no secret that bringing the French star over to La Liga is a plan being hatched by team manager Zinedine Zidane. The boss has already declared he is a big fan of Mbappe and the latter indicated that the admiration is mutual.

Also, Mbappe has teased the likelihood of playing one day for Premier League top club Liverpool, which he recently described as "a winning machine." The young striker did not forget to mention that the Reds are picking up wins because of head coach Jurgen Klopp.

Meanwhile, the latest figures shared by International Soccer Observatory showed that the market value of Mbappe has been largely unaffected by the coronavirus pandemic. If a team will buy the PSG ace today or in the next few months, the price tag is estimated to be around €259 million, Football Espana said in a report.

Surely, PSG will not give a discount on the appraised value, which should mean that Mbappe leaving the Paris-based club anytime soon is not happening considering the financial pressure caused by the global pandemic.
