The WWDC 2020 is one of the major events of the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple. The said event is believed to be the company's platform for launching the iPhone 12 series and the 2020 iMac. Interestingly, a new discovery claimed that the company might have made several design changes to the upcoming Apple personal computer.

It was earlier uncovered that the leaked iOS 14 code contains the schematic of the rumored 2020 iMac. Based on the schematic, the machine sports slimmer and uniform bezels than its predecessor. The icon was first spotted by the Russian concept artist iFinder and was shared on Twitter.

While the icon was low-resolution, it reveals that the alleged 2020 iMac would feature several design differences from the current generation Apple iMac models. Another tipster shared a cryptic tweet, which reveals an image of what could be the next iMac. But, since the tweet does not contain any text or explanation, the interpretation is left to the viewers.

Earlier this year, another Apple leaker shared that the 2020 iMac could feature the iPad Pro design language. The rumored machine could reportedly release with Pro Display XDR-like bezels, which appears much thinner than the current iMac models. Apart from those, whispers online claimed that the upcoming Apple personal computer might be equipped with a T2 chip and an AMD Radeon Navi GPU.

Based on this rumor, it looks like Apple finally dropped the Fusion drives as an option to consumers. Additionally, the 2020 iMac is anticipated to sport a 23-inch display, which is an improvement for its 231.5-inch model. A regulatory filing spotted this month revealed that Apple would update only one iMac model.

Meanwhile, Twitter user blue_kanikama shared the concept image of the rumored 2020 iMac. The machine sports an aluminum base, which maintains the looks of the current generation iMac models. The artist also made the bezels slimmer, coinciding with the schematic found on the iOS 14 code.

Additionally, the 2020 iMac concept image has boxier corners that make the panel appear like the Pro Display XDR. Industry Insider Sonny Dickson earlier mentioned that the actual design of the upcoming iMac would be inspired by the 2020 iPad Pro. In other words, it would feature much flatter edges and probably a more premium look.

The 2020 iMac is anticipated to launch at Apple's WWDC on Jun 22, according to industry insiders. Apple has not yet revealed the list of products that would be announced at the upcoming event. The Cupertino tech giant has not yet made any statements related to the 2020 iMac leaks.
