Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth are two of the celebrity couples who have been rumored to be struggling since the coronavirus lockdown started. New speculations about the Big Little Lies actress indicated that she has moved into a new house along with her children but not with her husband.
According to Woman's Day, Witherspoon has packed her things and moved into her new luxurious home with her children. The tabloid claimed Reese has invited some of her famous friends for a housewarming party. Those who reportedly attended were Witherspoon's The Morning Show co-star Jennifer Aniston and Big Little Lies castmate Nicole Kidman.
A source, who is supposed a long time pal of Reese, told the tabloid the actress put up a facade that there is no problem in her marriage but she is devastated by her marital issues. Witherspoon is allegedly looking forward to having a fresh start at her new home with her children.
Gossip Cop once again debunked the divorce rumor about Witherspoon and Toth and even the claim of Woman's Day that the couple is now living separately. The publication stressed that the couple is happy in their marriage and are still living under the same roof. In fact, Reese and Jim were recently spotted taking a bike ride together in Malibu, where their entire family is quarantining together.
Gossip Cop also cited the earlier report of the same tabloid claiming that Witherspoon had a breakdown because of problems in her marriage. It again cited a source who alleged that the Legally Blonde actress has been on the brink of divorce several times in the past months.
The outlet made the assumption after some moving trucks had been spotted outside the couple's home. There were indeed moving vehicles at the couple's house in L.A. but it was simply because the whole family was moving into their new $6.25M farmhouse in Malibu.
Witherspoon did not directly address the divorce rumors about her but she has frequently mentioned her family in several interviews in the past couple of months. In her appearance in Miley Cyrus' Instagram show, Bright Minded: Live With Miley, Reese told the singer that her entire family is staying at home together. She also specifically mentioned Jim.
Witherspoon and Toth have been together since 2010. They got married in 2011. They have a kid together, Tennessee James, 7. Witherspoon is also co-parenting her two older children, Ava, 20, and Deacon, 16, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
