Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall recently celebrated the second birthday of their second child, Lena. Born June 18, 2018, the royal baby, who doesn't have a royal title, most likely had a quiet birthday at their family home in the Gatcombe Park estate.

The Queen's granddaughter recalled that he and her former pro-ruby player husband originally planned on naming their second baby girl as Elena Elizabeth Tindall, after the monarch. Elena also means "bright one," which sounded really good until Zara realized her daughter's initial might not be so ideal.

When the baby grows up, she will be using her first and last name most of the time. Zara, realized that her daughter's initials are actually E.T., which is short for the alien in that iconic movie of the same name.

So, Zara and Mike settled on Lena, pronounced as Lay-na, at the last minute. She was almost due to give birth to her before they decided to make the changes.

Meanwhile, the Tindalls have been isolating for much of the time in the last three months just like the rest of the U.K. But they've also been quite visible on social media as the royal couple often participates in fundraisers and guest appearances.

Mike was a guest in one podcast show, where he is recording from his house. According to Hello, Lena could be clearly heard giggling in the background of that recording and his father had to apologize because "she's never quiet."

On the other hand, Lena's older sister, Mia, returned to her in-person classes at Thomas's Battersea early this June, much to the delight of Mike. Mia is a year 1 student, or a level higher than her cousins Princess Charlotte, who is in kindergarten, and a level lower than Prince George, who is in year 2.

Mike said that they were thrilled to be homeschooling Mia at the start of the coronavirus lockdown. It seemed pretty cool to the child to find her parents at home a lot.  However, doing online classes eventually became a struggle because, apparently, kids listen better to other people than their parents, according to Mike.

The professional athlete took care of Mia's homeschooling lessons because Zara needed to continue training with her horse as she is representing the U.K. on the Olympics. The sports event was canceled this year due to COVID-19 but Zara is still joining the team in 2021.
