Meghan Markle received an overwhelming support for her Black Lives Matter speech from the people of U.K. Majority also agreed with the message of her speech, which she shared to the graduating students of her alma mater, the Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles.

poll conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies showed that 49% believed Meghan was right to show her support for the Black Lives Movement. On the other hand, 22% and 27% said that they "strongly agree" or "agree" to her action of speaking to the students about this socio-political issue. Only 10% think that the Duchess of Sussex should not have done that speech.

It comes as the former press secretary of Queen Elizabeth, Dickie Arbiter, claimed that Meghan and Prince Harry would not have been allowed to voice their opinion on such a strong topic if they were still working royals. Arbiter said that Black Lives Matter is such a highly politicized subject involving the internal affairs of another country that Queen Elizabeth would rather that they didn't say anything

In her speech, Meghan said that the life of George Floyd, who died under police custody during his arrest, mattered. The Duchess of Sussex also enumerated the names of other Black Americans who were killed by cops during their apprehension.

Meghan talked to the graduating class for six minutes and admitted that she was nervous about what she had to say. However, she said that saying nothing was the only wrong thing she could think of so she decided to speak up about racism.

A whopping 56% on the poll said that they agreed with the message of the Duchess of Sussex's speech but 19% disagreed. She left with the final call to the students to live their life outside of school with kindness and tolerance for other people.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Prince Harry finally signed with an agency that will handle their speaking engagements. The Sussex pair are now with the Harry Walker Agency, which will be booking Prince Harry and Meghan to various community forums and trade associations.

According to Tatler, the couple could charge up to $1 million per speech, depending on the how long they are supposed to be on stage and what organization will be hearing them talk. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will likely be invited to share their thoughts on mental health, racial justice, gender equity, the environment, and women's advocacies.
