Ryan Seacrest is very much a bachelor once again. The American Idol host and Shayna Taylor called it quits after eight years of an on-and-off relationship. Meanwhile, Seacrest was spotted spending a vacation in Mexico with a mystery woman.
Ryan Seacrest seemed to have moved on so quickly from Shayna Taylor. E! News cited a source as saying the Live With Kelly and Ryan host along with real estate mogul Mike Meldman and a group of friends flew to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico via private jet last weekend for a vacation.
The source claimed Seacrest spent the whole time with his new lady at their private villa. Ryan, reportedly, looked relaxed, always attentive, and in deep conversation with his blonde companion who has a striking resemblance to his ex-girlfriend.
The two were photographed holding hands while relaxing under the sun. Ryan was seen laying on a sun lounger in a resort with his lady companion.
Meanwhile, Seacrest's rep confirmed that the TV host and Taylor have broken up. In a statement shared by E! News, the two, apparently, ended their romantic relationship amicable and they remain as good friends.
Ryan and Shayna first met through mutual friends in 2013. They began dating soon after. They separated briefly in 2014.
When Seacrest got to co-host Live with Kelly and Ryan in 2017, Taylor, who is a trained chef in Los Angeles at the time, moved to New York City to be with her man.
The news about the couple's breakup came weeks after Ryan wished the 28-year-old personal chef on their third anniversary. During an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, Seacrest explained that they've been together for eight years already but admitted that it was an on-and-off romance.
He said it was their third anniversary together. The two last split in February 2019 and reconciled months later.
At the time of their split, a source told People that the pair wasn't in sync when it comes to their future plans. Apparently, Shayna was ready to get married, but the 45-year-old TV/radio host wasn't.
Seacrest's vacation also came after he had a health scare during the American Idol Season 18 finale. During the broadcast, Ryan was seen slurring his speech and had a droopy right eye, which made many to believe that he had a stroke. He denied the speculations.
Earlier this month, it was rumored that Seacrest had proposed to Taylor. The two were, allegedly, planning their wedding and have been eyeing for an early 2021 nuptials.
