When reports started to circulate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were dating, royal supporters and the then-actress' fans were quite excited to witness how it would all play out. The same was seemingly true for the members of the British Royal Family as they were all reportedly excited to meet Meghan.

Since their first meeting with her, reports said that Prince Charles immediately found the now-Duchess great. He likes "strong women," royal author Nigel Cawthorne shared, according to The Sun.

But, despite liking her and her personality, the Prince of Wales, reportedly, predicted and "foresaw" problems at that instant. As stated, her strong personality is the reason behind it.

The royal expert, who is also the author of Prince Andrew, Epstein, and the Palace, reportedly, asserted that the future King most likely "feared" that the Royal Family, as well as the British Monarchy, has "only room for one" strong woman and queen. Quite obviously, this is only for Queen Elizabeth II.

Given that Meghan Markle also has similar strengths, Prince Charles, reportedly, "foresaw considerable problems" ahead of the Crown. Nevertheless, he "genuinely" attempted to support the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from the beginning, the royal expert added.

The Daily Express also reiterated the same narrative. As reported, the royal author went on to share that the Heir Apparent felt that it was "better" that the British Monarchy remains "small in size" rather than a "constellation of stars in separate orbits."

He then explained that this was likely after witnessing how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "amplified the popularity" of the British Royal Family. It was the same way how Prince Andrew and "Fergie" did it in their time, Cawthorne said.

All in all, however, Prince Charles could not, reportedly, do anything about it except for giving "moral support." He, certainly, "regrets" that he no longer sees Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as his grandson, Archie Harrison. "He likes tradition and order," the expert concluded.

In January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their plans to step down as senior royals. Their exit became official on March 31. Reports then said that they shortly left the United Kingdom to relocate to the United States.

These days, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their son, are staying in their new home in Los Angeles. As for their future plans, things are just, reportedly, starting to uncover since the pandemic crisis has seemingly put their plans to a halt.
