Aside from their new non-profit organization, Archewell, talks of entering the public speaking scene have emerged, as well. Also, some reports claimed that the Duchess might return to the Hollywood scene now that she is no longer a working royal.
All of these plans, either confirmed or not, have been affected by the pandemic crisis. This is why they have put almost everything to a halt amid the fight against the coronavirus.
But, despite having to pause for a while, this did not, reportedly, stop Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to speak up against racism. With the current crisis concerning the Black Lives Matter movement, the Sussex couple seemingly wanted to be part of the "change," according to Cheat Sheet.
Earlier in June, the Duchess of Sussex, reportedly, tackled the death of George Floyd in a commencement speech she gave. As stated, she also discussed the "systemic racism" that has become apparent in recent times.
As she, alongside Prince Harry, continues to break her silence about the issue, many reports have emerged claiming that she is likely "considering" joining politics in the United States. This is why it all "makes sense" now why she had to leave the royal life in the United Kingdom, a source told the Daily Mail.
The anonymous insider, reportedly, continued to assert that Meghan Markle wants to utilize her "voice for change" as her "mission" is quite far "beyond acting." She has not "ruled out a career" in politics, too, the source said.
Another source told the same publication that the Duchess' work as a "leader" is much "more important" today. This is why she has continued to speak with Oprah and other leaders on how she could participate further, the insiders added.
Amid the talks about her possible "career shift," the former actress has not responded to any of the assertions or reports. Nevertheless, reports said that it is not surprising if she joins politics in the near future.
As pointed out, prior to her becoming part of the British Royal Family, she has already repeatedly expressed her "disdain" for the US President and the government. Considering that she now no longer needs to become "neutral" in these kinds of topics, then there is, indeed, a possibility for Meghan Markle to shift her career to politics, the reports said.
