The world might still be dealing with the coronavirus outbreak but MONSTA X is ready to deliver some good news to their fans. The boy group has just confirmed that they will be preparing for a U.S. and Canada tour in 2021. In addition to that, the new schedules for the postponed concert dates in major North American cities have been revealed.

The announcement was made by Starship Entertainment as they posted on the official MONSTA X social media pages.

"We are announcing a new schedule for '2021 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR IN US/CANADA', which has been temporarily postponed due to COVID-19," the notice read. "In May, we postponed '2020 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR IN US/CANADA' scheduled for June=July 2020 in order to prioritize the health protection of visitors, artists and staff from COVID=19. To console our fans who are exhausted with COVID-19 and to repay their long-awaited support, we hereby announce the new schedule for '2021 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR IN US/CANADA.'"

It was, also, confirmed that Monbebes, who have already purchased tickets for this year's world tour, can still use their tickets for the new dates in their respective cities. This means fans will, finally, get to see MONSTA X in concert next year.

Interestingly, a number of fans noted that some previously confirmed cities were not included in the 2021 MONSTA X World Tour in US/Canada. It was, later, revealed that these particular concerts have been cancelled and that Monbebes will receive a refund so they can get tickets for the new dates and locations.

For starters, MONSTA X is the first Kpop group to confirm a world tour in 2021 amidst the COVID-19 scare. The group is also preparing for their online concert MONSTA X Live From Seoul With Luv, which was moved to August 8 to allow group leader Shownu recover fully from his emergency eye surgery in early July. The virtual concert was, originally, scheduled for late July but Starship Entertainment decided to give Son Hyunwoo enough time to recuperate before the performance.
